Shepherds who traveled from afar gathered to view the Christ child during the first of two performances Dec. 17 of the Pine Mountain Settlement School Nativity Play production held in the chapel on the century-old campus. The play, according to its director Judy Lewis, has been a holiday tradition since 1913 and features the acting talents of area residents and employees of PMSS. The two shows drew crowds in excess of 400 people.
