Deputy director Rhonda Pacholewski, with Harlan County Emergency Management, was mentioned during the Harlan County Fiscal Court meeting on Tuesday for her exemplary work. Harlan County Judge-Executive also congratulated Pacholewski on a recent award she received on the state level. Pacholewski was awarded Deputy Director of the Year at the Kentucky Emergency Services Conference. She began her service as a volunteer four hours a day with no pay. She is now a full-time employee.
