Lady Bears extend streak with a win over Middlesboro

Harlan County is getting hot at just the right time with tournament play starting soon.
The Lady Bears exended their win streak to five and improved their district mark to 3-1 with a 2-1 win Thursday at Middlesboro.
Natalie Bolin scored both HCHS goals, one of an assist from Kenzie Crider and another off an assist from Hannah Pace. Crider allowed only one goal on eight shots faced.
The 5-4 Lady Bears will celebrate Senior Night on Monday against J. Frank White Academy, Tenn., at the James A. Cawood field. HCHS will close its regular season schedule Tuesday at home against Middlesboro.
