Middlesboro, HCHS advance to district finals

<p>Breonna Rhymer | Bear Tracks</p> <p>Harlan County’s Ethan Robinson went past a Knox Central defender in district soccer action Tuesday. HCHS advanced with a 4-3 victory.</p>
Middlesboro and Harlan County took much different paths to the championship game of the 50th District Tournament on Tuesday at the James A. Cawood field.
Middlesboro routed Barbourville 10-0 in the opening match. HCHS edged Knox Central 4-3 in a game decided on penalty kicks.
The Bears and Jackets will meet Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the district finals.
