Students participate in KFB contest

Local students participated in the Kentucky Farm Bureau District 11 Youth & Variety Contest on Oct. 22. Breanna Rhymer, a junior at Harlan County High School, sang beautifully in the Variety Contest, and Kiki Dean, also a junior at HCHS, gave an excellent speech. Caleb Ashley, senior at HCHS, won the male speech and interview contest. Ashley gave an excellent speech on the importance of Honeybees to Agriculture. Harlan County Farm Bureau expressed how very proud they are of all contestants.
