Moonbow Tipple Coffee & Sweets executed their first soft opening in downtown Harlan on Monday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. to meet and welcome new customers to the Buttermore Building on 119 S. Main Street, which is now home to Geoff and Sky Marietta’s small-town coffee shop. The cafe features a variety of caffeinated and decaffeinated beverages and a number of sweets.
The Mariettas also partnered with Taco Holler to supply some delicious carb-friendly muffins. A ribbon cutting ceremony, courtesy of the Harlan County Chamber of Commerce, will take place in the coming weeks to officially welcome the shop into downtown.

With the business opening bright and early at 7 a.m. on Monday, two Moonbow employees stopped briefly to smile for the camera before continuing their day and serving locals who trickled in to see the newly revitalized building with a side of coffee.
