WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Hal Rogers (KY-05) received an A rating on the first-ever National Pro-Life Scorecard, organized by the Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List), a national pro-life organization. The scorecard is a new tool for holding members of Congress accountable for legislative records on life and highlighting leadership in the fight to protect unborn children and their mothers.
The Scorecard reflects significant pro-life measures taken during the 116th Congress, including votes, cosponsorships, congressional letters, pro-life bill introduction and more.
“I count it a distinct honor and duty to protect the sanctity of life and to provide a voice for our innocent, unborn children, who deserve a chance to live,” said Rogers. “One of the greatest tragedies of our time has been the tragic, preventable deaths of millions of aborted children every year in America. The legislative action that I take on behalf of Kentucky’s Fifth Congressional District will always uphold life, and I am grateful to receive this A rating from the SBA List.”
On Friday, the annual National March for Life will take place in Washington, DC.
