Jeep Fest and Mountain Market return

Jeeps, food, music, and fun are returning to Harlan for the upcoming edition of the Spring Jeep Fest, a celebration of all things Jeep and a good time for all who wish to attend.

According to Harlan Tourism’s social media, the event is scheduled for April 25 and 26. The location is the Harlan Center in downtown Harlan.

As usual, Jeep Fest is planning on multiple attractions for the enjoyment and entertainment of young and old alike including live music, a cornhole tournament, assorted food trucks, door prizes, Show and Shine, vendors, a Mountain Market, a duck race, and free inflatables for the youngest jeep enthusiasts.

The event’s live entertainment kicks off on Friday, April 25, when Bill Taylor and the Appalachian Heathens take the stage at 7 p.m.

The party really gets rolling on Saturday, April 26, with vendors on the premises offering a wide range of food, drinks, crafts, and other items. Vendors on tap for the event include Two Big Pigs BBQ, Suzy Q’s Pizzeria and Café, Busy Bee Lemonade, 7 North Apparel, Chadwick Candles, Blossom Gas, 2 Crafty Crows and MH Creation.

In addition to Jeep Fest, the Mountain Market will be taking place inside the Harlan Center, featuring merchandise from multiple vendors including Nola Sizemore, Sarah Clayborn, Sonja Kelly, Kathy Slusher, Lisa White, Barbara Hatfield, Kynect, Robin Smith, The Pig Patch, Dazzling All Divas, Joyce Bledsoe, and many more.

Saturday’s live entertainment features a roster of musicians featuring many local favorites as well as regional acts. The Turner Family Revival kicks the show into gear at noon, with Shyla Raleigh taking over the stage at 1 p.m. Laci Deaton will be on stage at 2 p.m. to entertain the crowd. At 3 p.m., the music breaks for the Cornhole Tournament to take center stage. Dakota Saylor brings the music back to the spotlight at 4 p.m., with regional favorites The Creekers headlining the musical entertainment for the day.

The Spring Jeep Fest is hosted by the Muddy Harlan Jeep Crew.
