Man facing sexual abuse charges

A man is facing charges, including sexual abuse, after allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old.

Trevor Weedman, 23, of LaBelle, Florida, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on April 8.

According to the citation, an officer received a complaint from the victim’s mother, who stated she believed her daughter was at the Quality Inn with Weedman.

Weedman had a room at the hotel, and a housekeeping supervisor led the officer to his room. Weedman allegedly came to the door in his underwear and the daughter was seen in the bed.

Weedman allegedly told the officer the girl stated she was 18. The mother, who was also on scene, confirmed that her daughter was in fact 13 years of age.

Weedman was placed under arrest and was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor (illegal sex act; under 16-years-of-age).

Weedman was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a full cash bond totaling $20,000.

• Clarence Deal, 33, of Cumberland, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on April 6. He was charged with first-degree trafficking of controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree promoting contraband and tampering with physical evidence. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on two $2,500 full cash bonds;

• Jason Sullivan, 34, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on April 7. He was charged with first-degree possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and two counts failure to appear. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $1,500 full cash bond and $500 full cash bond;

• Henry Fee, 36, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on April 7. He was charged with first-degree possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $3,500 full cash bond with bail credit;

• Deshawn Fee, 18, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on April 7. He was charged with theft by unlawful taking ($10,000 or more but under $1,000,000) and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $2,500 full cash bond;

• Charles Cole, 46, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on April 8. He was charged with first-degree trafficking controlled substance (less than 2 grams methamphetamine), trafficking marijuana and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence; minor injury). He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on two full cash bonds, one for $3,500 and the other totaling $500;

• Tabitha Smith, 32, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on April 9. She was charged with first-degree possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $3,500 full cash bond;

• Doyle Fox, 52, of Corbin, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officers on April 9. He was charged with custodial interference (felony) and was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
