The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that a portion of KY 219 (milepoints 1.033 to 1.053) in Harlan County will have intermittent lane closures on Thursday.

The intermittent lane closures are necessary due to concrete box beams being placed for the superstructure bridge rehabilitation project on KY 219 in Harlan County.

Expect delays between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
