LMU confers 571 degrees at spring commencement

HARROGATE, Tenn. — Lincoln Memorial University awarded 571 degrees during its spring commencement exercises in May at Tex Turner Arena on the main campus in Harrogate, Tenn. Noted Lincoln and Civil War historian Dr. Allen Guelzo delivered the commencement address and received the University’s highest honor, the Lincoln Diploma of Honor.
Among the graduates were:
• Emilee Arney, of Cawood, who graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics;
• Vivian Hill, of Harlan, Master of Science in Nursing family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner concentration;
• Savonna Howard, of Pathfork, Associate of Science in nursing;
• Lachesna Osborne, of Helton, Master of Education in school counseling and guidance; and
• Adam Templeton, of Pathfork, Associate of Science in nursing.
