The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Matt Hall, 31, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 9. He was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Danny Cornett, 43, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 9. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Ryan York, 37, of West Liberty, was lodged in the detention center as a state inmate on Aug. 9;

• Michael Holbrook, 30, of Harlan, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Aug. 10. He was charged with parole violation;

• Charles Penny, 32, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Aug. 10. He was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and second-degree criminal trespassing;

• McCaylee Napier, 20, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Aug. 10. She was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol);

• Gregory Riddle, 32, of Verda, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Aug. 10. He was charged with failure to appear, non-payment of court costs/fees/fines, public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and second-degree disorderly conduct;

• Willard Smith, 34, of Closplint, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 10. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Ricky King, 39, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Aug. 10. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Amanda Mott, 27, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 10. She was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Justin Tubbs, 33, of Cumberland, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 10. He was charged with three counts non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Bobbi Foley, 41, of Mary Alice, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 10. She was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol);

• James Laws, 46, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 10. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, no registration plates and failure to register/transfer of motor vehicle;

• Aaron Robinson, 19, of Cumberland, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Aug. 11. He was charged with third-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified) and non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Johntavias Cabbell, 22, of Lithonia, Georgia, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Aug.11. He was charged with possession of marijuana;

• Robbie Johnson, 36, of Dayhoit, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 11. He was charged with second-degree fleeing/evading police (on foot), giving an officer false identifying information, public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol), failure to appear, non-payment of court costs/fees/fines and contempt of court;

• Ronnie Nantz, 44, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 11. He was charged with four counts failure to appear;

• Justin Lay, 21, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 12. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to wear seat belts, vehicle with only one headlight, improper equipment, instructional permit violations, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, no registration receipt, operating vehicle with expired operator’s license and failure to produce insurance card;

• Shawn McLain, 30, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 12. He was charged with failure to appear and contempt of court;

• Jonathan Stewart, 32, of Verda, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 12. He was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Jimmy Bishop, 57, of Knoxville, Tenn., was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 12. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Andrew Mills, 21, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 13. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Chris Napier, 47, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement officers on Aug. 13. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, two counts failure of owner to maintain required insurance, two counts failure to produce insurance card, rim/frame obscuring lettering/decal on plate and obstructed vision/windshield;

• Justin Simpson, 33, of Pineville, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on Aug. 13. He was charged on a court order transport for court;

• Heather Anderson, 43, of Cawood, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 13. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500);

• Tiffany Kincaid, 32, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 14. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500) and menacing.
