Henson honored for service on county board

Brenda Henson, a member of the Harlan County Board of Education for 19 years, submitted her letter of resignation earlier this summer. Henson was presented a commemorative vase for her dedication and hard work at the board’s regular meeting on Aug. 15. Henson’s seat was filled by her daughter-in-law, Donnece Henson, who was also sworn in at the meeting.
